Leon Levine Hall of Health Sciences Tour

    The Beaver College of Health Sciences (BCHS) at Appalachian State University invites you to register for a tour of Leon Levine Hall of Health Sciences to see our innovative classrooms, labs, and clinic. Most weeks, we offer our tours Tuesday and Thursday at 3:00 pm and Fridays at 2:00pm.

    For BCHS tours only, no campus tour included, please use the schedule at the bottom of this page. If you are interested in a full campus tour as well as a BCHS visit, visit our campus tour site for more options.

    If you would like to schedule a meeting with or have specific questions about a Health Sciences department or program, please contact the department or program directly.

    Please note, the building is approximately 2.5 miles off campus at 1179 State Farm Road in Boone.

    Individual (Prospective Student) Tours

    Leon Levine Hall of Health Sciences houses the following programs: Athletic Training, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Kinesiology, Health Care Management, Health Sciences, Nursing, Nutrition, Occupational Therapy, Public Health, and Social Work, as well as the Inter-Professional Clinic and the Wake Forest Physician Assistant program.

    Scheduled tours last approximately one hour, and you may select a date by visiting the University’s Campus Visit page.  You are also welcome to take a self-guided tour of Leon Levine at your convenience when the building is open, typically Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

    Group Tours

    Visitor Parking Information for Tours
    • Parking is available on-site and you will receive a parking pass when you check-in at the desk in the Atrium.
    • With a parking pass, you may park in any available spaces; please do not park in any clinical spaces marked with yellow signage.
