Join us for a campus tour! 


    To schedule your tour of App State's Boone campus, begin by searching for available tour times on a calendar below. Your visit will consist of approximately an hour and a half long walking tour of campus with a student tour guide. If you would like to receive a 20-30 minute admissions presentation please also register for the On-Campus Information Session.

    Self-guided Tours

    Boone Campus

    We ask that you register for a self-guided tour during our business hours, Monday-Friday from 8:00-5:00 pm in order for us to validate your parking. After hours, holidays and during office closures, parking is free on campus and pre-registration is not required, but you can fill out this quick form to let us know you're on campus, and to receive more information about App State. 
    Explore campus at your own pace on a day of your choosing! Please note, your visit will not include an in-person information session or a meeting with an admissions staff member. You may also choose to register for a virtual info session or Counselor one-on-one chat before or after your visit.
    On-Campus Information Sessions
    All prospective students (first-year and transfer students) and up to 2 guests each, are invited to join us for an on-campus information session with an Admissions Counselor. This presentation is roughly 25 minutes long. This does not include a campus tour.

    Group Tours

    If you are interested in bringing a group of up to 50 high school students to Boone campus, please visit our Group Tour website for information on scheduling your school trip, community group and more!

    Please read and acknowledge the expectations for all visitors and guests on App State's campus.

    • Registration is required for all guided tours. A maximum of 2 guests is allowed per registered student. Any additional guests will be allowed to experience a self-guided tour. 
    • All walk-ins will be given the option to experience a self-guided campus visit.
    • Pets will not be allowed to join any campus tour. Only Service Animals as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) are permitted. Individuals contact Admissions if being accompanied by a Service Animal.
    • Individuals who need accommodations on the basis of disability, should contact the Office of Disability Resources a minimum of 10 business days prior to the scheduled visit. It is recommended that guests with limited mobility work with a medical supply store or pharmacy for short term wheelchair or mobility device options/rentals as wheelchairs or other personal mobility devices are not provided on campus.
