Should you apply as a First-Year student?
Even if you’ve earned community college credits, you may still be considered a first-year student.
You should apply using the App State First-Year Application if any of the following apply:
I have not attended another institution since graduating high school, receiving a high school diploma or a credentialed equivalent.
I graduated from a North Carolina Cooperative Innovative High School.
