Please fill out this form to indicate your intent to participate in the Aspire Appalachian program prior to transferring to Appalachian State University.
Students are eligible for Aspire Appalachian if they meet the following criteria:
have graduated from high school or received their high school equivalent
be in progress of or completed ACA 122 with a grade of C or better
are on track toward completion of select two-year associate degree transfer programs
have at least two semesters (24 credit hours) remaining at Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute
be enrolled as a full time (12 credit hour) student
Students who were previously enrolled as undergraduate students at Appalachian are not eligible for the Aspire program. For questions about readmission to Appalachian, contact the

To be admissible to our Hickory Campus Elementary Education Cohort, you must have:
30 hours of
transferable coursework
the equivalent of App State's R C 1000 course
the equivalent of App State's MAT 1010 course or higher
