App State Diversity Events

Appalachian is committed to achieving and sustaining inclusive excellence for its campus community. In recent years, the university has made forward strides to ensure its campus is welcoming to all students. Notable milestones include celebrating the most diverse class in university history in fall 2020, dedicating the National Pan-Hellenic Council’s Plots and Garden, hosting the annual Inclusion Infusion Summer Diversity Institute, expanding language translation services and opening a dedicated student veteran resource center.

    First on the Mountain

This is an opportunity for first generation students and their families to experience how far the dedication to our students goes. We'll address common concerns, challenges, and questions while providing resources in a variety of areas like Financial Aid, Student Support Services and Campus Involvement.

Join us on campus on Monday, July 14th or virtually on Wednesday, July 16th!
