App State Diversity Events

    Appalachian is committed to achieving and sustaining inclusive excellence for its campus community. In recent years, the university has made forward strides to ensure its campus is welcoming to all students. Notable milestones include celebrating the most diverse class in university history in fall 2020, dedicating the National Pan-Hellenic Council’s Plots and Garden, hosting the annual Inclusion Infusion Summer Diversity Institute, expanding language translation services and opening a dedicated student veteran resource center.

    Black Student Preview Day x Dia Appalachanes:

    Start your journey at the top of the mountain! On Friday, March 22th App State will host Black Student Preview Day x Dia Appalachanes for incoming admitted students. You will explore campus, hear from current students, learn how you would be supported, and all while gaining community and an understanding of the Black and Latinx Student experience at App State.
